The Role

Responsible for sales account development within the SLED organization, with an established geographic territory for a complex suite of services and robust product sets to drive sales, increase brand awareness, and grow a specific territory.

The Main Responsibilities

Develop sales within designated target markets by identifying new opportunities with prospective enterprise customers headquartered in the region Activities include cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submissions, and customer appointments Manage customer relationships after securing new business to:

Strengthen strategic positioning with key decision‑makers

Retain existing revenue Identify and capture additional business opportunities Create and execute comprehensive sales plans with clearly defined strategies, tactics, and timelines to maximize revenue growth

Take full ownership of the assigned geographic territory, ensuring consistent coverage and proactive engagement

Continuously expand knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and company products and solutions to enhance sales effectiveness

Utilize Siebel and Salesforce.com to maintain accurate, detailed weekly forecast funnels of identified and proposed opportunities, ensuring alignment with sales quota requirements

What We Look For in a Candidate 5+ years of sales experience in a quota‑carrying role Proven success in solution selling across IP, data, and voice network services Demonstrated strength in hunting, prospecting, and new account development Experience using Salesforce.com preferred Strong communication, writing, and formal presentation abilities, with a track record of effectively selling through to close Highly self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑driven, with the ability to work independently and with minimal direction Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently Compensation This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
