Identify and research budget variances.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;">Prepare and post journal entries for monthly financial statements.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;">Reconcile various general ledger accounts.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;">Assist with the annual audit of the organization. Prepare lead schedules for audit and work with external auditors to explain documentation/processes.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;">Gather statistical information for financial reporting.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;">Work with other departments regarding G/L, A/P, budget and payroll questions.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;">Perform some deposit and banking functions.</p></li><li><p style="margin: 0px;">Represent Accounting on cross-departmental teams.
