Administrative Student Assistant

Overview Student Affairs at Auburn University is excited to begin the search for a Student Assistant in Student Conduct! This individual will work in the Melton Student Center, Suite 1206, with Auburn Cares and Student Conduct.

Assistants interact with a wide variety of clientele and must demonstrate a willingness to meet the needs and expectations of these groups.

Student

Assistants must always represent Auburn University and Student Affairs in a positive manner.

This appointment is for Summer 2026; however, it may be extended into the 2026–2027 academic year subject to the availability of work hours.

Responsibilities Maintain order in work environment including copier area, lobby, and conference room

Provide excellent customer service to each visitor to the office

Answer telephones courteously and provide caller with helpful, accurate information

Deliver packages across campus as needed

Assist in the mailing, filing, or shredding of documents as needed

Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities and business transactions

Maintain and update existing online database system
