Position Overview

We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Admissions Coordinator with home care agency experience to join our team. This role is centered around customer service, admissions, communication, and administrative support.

As one of the first points of contact for prospective clients and referral sources, you will assist with starting or transferring home care services, managing service inquiries, handling incoming calls, and supporting day-to-day office operations while helping create a positive experience for everyone interacting with our agency.

This is a full-time, office-based position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering a 35-hour workweek.

The ideal candidate is professional, personable, organized, and able to communicate effectively while providing exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist prospective clients and families with starting or transferring home care services.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, assisting callers and directing inquiries to the appropriate department or team member.
  • Provide information regarding agency services and follow up on admissions and service inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and administrative files.
  • Assist with general office operations, inventory management, and administrative support.
  • Coordinate communication between prospective clients, referral sources, caregivers, and internal team members.
  • Support outreach and community engagement efforts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Home care agency experience required.
  • Experience in admissions, intake, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
