Animation/Motion Graphics Internship

Carbon Fiber Music, Inc., home to Latin star Farruko is a music and entertainment company specializing in the international Latin market. The company provides various artist and label services, such as talent management, artist development, marketing, and music publishing.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working, motion graphic intern to join our marketing team. The motion graphic intern will help produce and animate assets for the album and single cover arts, social media, and promotional materials.

All student candidates must be aware of the music and social trends in Latin music and entertainment, as well as be currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical school. Candidates should display strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as ingenuity, and an eagerness to learn. Candidates must also possess excellent computer skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred, but not required. Students will be asked to intern at least twenty-four hours a week, but we will try our best to work around your schedule.

This is an internship experience for college credit.

We are currently recruiting an intern for a Motion Graphic internship position. Applicants must be able to do the following:

  • Familiar in creating cover arts for artists in the music business
  • Creative understanding of animation design and to ensure graphic solutions and look/feel are consistent with brand and style guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to create dynamic design elements across a wide array of styles
  • Ability to adapt design style and sensibility to the specific job and characteristics of a particular task
  • Ability to be a proactive contributor to the creative process from the beginning of a project through delivery
  • Ability to channel and focus creativity and execute on projects under challenging time constraints and deadlines
  • Edit video footage, syncing music and other audio, as well as the creation of motion graphics and effects
  • Understanding and applying current design trends, while exhibiting a keen eye for design and high-quality aesthetics
  • Understanding our target demographics and creating compelling content to reach them
  • Contribute innovative ideas for new projects

The intern may be responsible for special projects, database maintenance, sending out promotional mailings, conducting research, answering phones, writing reports, proofreading, and general administrative functions such as scanning, filing, and copying.
