About the Role:

Baker Barrios Architects is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Architect 1 to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals eager to grow their skills and knowledge in the field of architecture. The Architect 1 will focus on technical design and the development of project documentation under the supervision of a Project Manager. This role provides a valuable opportunity to immerse oneself in BBA’s culture, approach, and standards while building the technical foundation needed for a successful architectural career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the technical design and preparation of project documentation under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Learn and apply BBA’s architectural standards, processes, and design approach.
  • Contribute to project teams by ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables.
  • Develop skills and technical expertise related to professional architectural practice.
  • Collaborate with team members to support the smooth progression of project tasks and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in architecture, with duties and responsibilities set by the Project Manager.
  • Candidates should be working towards licensure and have a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Proficiency with Revit required.
  • A passion for architecture and a willingness to learn and grow within the firm.
