Duties

  • Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
  • Authorize access to authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors while maintaining strict control over entry points
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
  • Conduct thorough inspections of individuals and property to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
  • Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques to maintain safety and order
  • Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly
  • Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing behaviors that could indicate theft or misconduct

Experience

  • Prior experience in security roles is highly preferred
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous to handle medical emergencies effectively
  • Proven skills in surveillance technology such as CCTV operation and monitoring systems
  • Strong conflict management abilities with the capacity to remain calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of security procedures, loss prevention tactics, and emergency response protocols
  • Familiarity with legal regulations related to security operations and use of force policies
