Assistant Manager - Car Park Management

The Assistant Manager - Car Park Management will report to the Manager - Car Park Management of Resorts World Genting. The general duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conducting system audits.
  • Managing season/VIP customers & Genting Rewards enquiries .
  • Shift Reports and System Reconciliation.
  • Managing car park stock items and car park consumable items.
  • Organising licencing of car park and car park equipment.
  • Operation of the car park office and monitoring systems.
  • Upkeep of the office stationary requirements.
  • Office equipment maintenance and repairs organising.
  • Tracking and tracing system movements.
  • Human resources liaising for car park staff.
  • Assisting Manager - Car Park Management in improving system protocols and procedures.
  • Supporting Control Centre personnel if and when necessary.
  • Monitoring Control Centre customer service levels and advising improvements where necessary.
  • Coordinating suitable admin tasks for Control Centre Operators during off peak hours.
  • To check all details of the car owner are properly recorded for lost ticket.
  • If there is any refund to customers for lost ticket, it must be declared in the shift report.
  • To plan with operation supervisor to disperse traffic congestion during peak hours.
  • Ensure cash handling policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Manager - Car Park Management

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in any discipline.
  • At least 4 years working experience as an Executive - Car Park .
  • Must know how to use Microsoft office programs
  • Good command and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both oral and written.
  • Good organizational and time management skills possess strong initiative and desire to learn.
  • Possess understanding of business process implementation and control, human resource management, customer service management, audit control/service management.
  • Possess entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Good people management skill is a must.
  • Capacity to work in shifts and willing to work during weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a team.
  • Able to Supervise, advice, guide, motivate and train subordinate staff.

Car Park equipment knowledge.

  • Possess at least 1 year working experience in similar position or with at least 4 years' experience in an Executive position.
  • Familiar or possess knowledge in the usage of computerized and non computerized cash register.
  • Able to interact with season parkers and tenants for car park facilities and solve amicably problems encountered by irate customers.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and liaise with relevant inter-department of the Group.
  • Willing to base at Resorts World Genting, Pahang
