This includes the overall management, organization, and productivity of Centralized Scheduling, Centralized Registration, Financial Clearance Centers, and Quality Assurance to ensure integrity, accuracy, and security of patient registration. Provides guidance and support in alignment with overall departmental and organizational goals. This position will have a significant role in the administration or preparation of the departments or the organization's budget.<br /><br /></p><p><span style="font-weight:800;color:rgb( 0 , 112 , 192 );font-size:12pt">Responsibilities</span><br /></p><p></p><p></p><ul><li>Organizes, plans, and directs the daily scheduling, registration, admission, and financial clearance processes for the Jackson Health System.</li><li>Promotes relationships with all Revenue Cycle departments and works closely with peers to ensure communication of key operational targets and goals. </li><li>Provides interface with internal and external resources at multiple levels to optimize operational efficiency.</li><li>Sets achievable and measurable goals for subordinates and reviews individual performance against these metrics continuously throughout the appraisal period, taking action when necessary. </li><li>Works directly in a collaborative manner with the management of clinical and ancillary areas to establish best practice for coordination of patient services. </li><li>Adheres to, and enforces all hospital and department policies, safety measures, and standards which includes, but is not limited to, Joint Commission readiness, HIPAA, EMTALA, Medicare, and other federal/state regulatory guidelines related to billing and patient rights. </li><li>Ensures Patient Access and Revenue Cycle initiatives have a methodical approach for implementation and follow-up;
