In this position, you will be responsible for managing client relationships; supervising, reviewing, and providing on-the-job training for staff; performing all tasks of the assurance engagements when needed. Notably, the person in this role will play a critical role in leading our client engagements.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Audit Compliance <ul> <li>This position will lead and ensure the team maintains a high degree of accuracy and timeliness of the audit engagements.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Team Leadership: <ul> <li>Reviewing the work of junior staff and preparing more complicated sections of the files.</li> <li>Set the culture for the engagement team and mentor members in their career development.</li> <li>Work to ensure your team is engaged and excited by listening and assisting in the development of team members’ goals to meet department objectives while also providing opportunities for them to grow. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Client Service: <ul> <li>Deliver quality internal and external client service, in accordance with the Firm’s values, in order to build and maintain client loyalty and teamwork by contributing to a positive client and team member experience.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Continuous Process Improvement: <ul> <li>Focus on solutions and problem solving creatively in order to help make timely decisions by translating requests into action.<strong> </strong></li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related</li> <li>Active CPA in good standing</li> <li>6+ years of increasing levels of responsibility in public accounting</li> <li>Experience in Government and Single Audit financial statement audits with a CPA firm</li> <li>Demonstrably strong leadership skills</li> <li>Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Employee Benefit Plan, non-profit, and/or real estate audits</li> <li>Caseware, DAS, OnPoint, MindBridge experience</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <p>We hire good people and give them a good place to work.
