This team drives sustainable business growth by delivering data-driven insights to improve sales performance, optimize client value, and inform strategies based on member access to care. This role offers the opportunity to work with enterprise-scale healthcare data, including claims, sales, financial, and provider data across Humana’s dental, vision, life, disability, Medicare, and Medicaid businesses. You will contribute to analytics solutions while working independently on moderately complex problems and continuing to develop your technical and business expertise.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Develop and enhance reporting and analytics solutions supporting sales and retention strategies</li><li>Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service tools</li><li>Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytics solutions</li><li>Build and support data models, including star schemas and semantic models</li><li>Support data preparation and transformation processes</li><li>Support geographic access analytics evaluating provider availability and proximity to members</li><li>Perform ad-hoc and exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights</li><li>Communicate findings through reports and visualizations tailored to business stakeholders</li><li>Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting solutions</li><li>Work independently on moderately complex problems, escalating more complex challenges as needed</li></ul><h1><br><b>Use your skills to make an impact </b><br> </h1><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience writing SQL queries (joins, aggregations, data shaping)</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience using Power BI, including Power Query and basic DAX</li><li>Hands-on experience building paginated reports (Power BI Report Builder or SSRS)</li><li>Experience working with data models, including star schemas or semantic models</li><li>Experience working with moderate to large datasets in a business environment</li><li>Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and define technical solutions</li><li>Experience analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, or insights</li><li>Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b><span>Work-At-Home Requirements</span></b></p><ul><li>At minimum, a download speed of 25 mbps and an upload speed of 10 mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested</li><li>Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership</li><li>Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.</li><li>Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.</li><li>Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Experience working with healthcare data (claims, provider, sales, or benefits data)</li><li>Experience supporting sales, retention, or operational reporting</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms or data tools (e.g., Databricks, Salesforce)</li><li>Familiarity with geographic access analytics or tools such as Quest Analytics Suite</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b><span>Additional Information</span></b></p><ul><li>This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship</li><li>As part of our hiring process for this opportunity, we may contact you via text message and email to gather more information using a software platform called HireVue.
