Job Description

This job is responsible for promoting sales trading activities to a set of clients. Key responsibilities include executing sales in listed and National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations securities and coordinating with institutional clients to identify and purchase sale opportunities. Job expectations include developing relationships with assigned client organizations through trading and execution services.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a desk covering client orders on listed and National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations securities and promotes sales trading activities to a set of clients

  • Manages riskless principal trading books while ensuring compliant with guidelines/regulations and managing risk

  • Coordinates with institutional clients to identify purchase and sale opportunities by staying current on market conditions, regulations, and subject-matter expertise of the firm's products

  • Responds to salesforce requests to identify buyers/sellers for a security

  • Develops relationships with clients through trading and execution services by delivering, timely and accurate outcomes

  • Assists in cross-selling activities by coordinating efforts between various coverage points and identifying gaps

  • Provides guidance to more junior associates
