Our Home Care

Assistants are a vital part of our team, providing aid to our participants in their homes as well as contributing to the care planning process as a member of our interdisciplinary team (IDT). Reporting to the Home Care Supervisor, the Home Care Assistant will provide safe delivery of personal care services to WelbeHealth participants in their home, as scheduled and directed. This role is different because Home Care Assistants at WelbeHealth: Work a stable, full-time schedule unlike traditional home care roles, you will be assigned participants to fill a full workday, and will be re-assigned in cases of cancellations or unforeseen circumstances Visit 2-5 patients per day depending on participant needs and care plans, working shorter individual shifts that still add up to an 8-hour workday Receive reimbursement for travel time and mileage between participants We care about our team members.

Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision) ~ 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days ~Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus ~ Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to participants in their homes, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and physical lifting when transferring participants Measure and document participants' vital signs as instructed Act as a medical escort on vehicles to medical appointments, supporting participants with safe transfer in and out of their homes Assist the Rehabilitation team by carrying out home exercise programs as indicated in the care plan developed by the IDT, after sufficient training as needed High school diploma or equivalency Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/First Aid Certification required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred Bilingual preferred Must be registered with Home Care Registry prior to start date Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred We are seeking Home Care Assistants that are looking to start their career in the healthcare space. Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus.
