This position involves operating commercial trucks to transport freight over long distances, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Transport freight across designated routes during night shifts, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and performance.
- Secure and verify cargo to prevent damage or loss during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel usage reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
