Job Summary:

Estes Express Lines, a leader in freight transportation and logistics across North America, is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Linehaul Driver to join our dedicated night operations team. This position involves operating commercial trucks to transport freight over long distances, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Transport freight across designated routes during night shifts, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and performance.
  • Secure and verify cargo to prevent damage or loss during transit.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel usage reports.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
  • Identify and report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Uphold company policies regarding professionalism, punctuality, and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
  • Clean driving record with a strong safety history.
  • Ability to operate and maneuver large trucks over long distances.
