Job Title: Engineering and IT Support - CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3- Nightshift

Location: Goodyear, AZ

Duration: 6 months+ (Potential chances for extension)

Pay Range: $50//hr. - $55/hr. (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3 to join our team at a large-scale data center campus. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data center electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and critical environment operations and a proven ability to execute SOPs/EOPs, support contractors and vendors, and maintain uptime for critical loads.

Four Resources will be working A-side night shift, Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday.

Four Resources will be working B-side night shift, Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday.

Responsibilities:

· Provide escort support for third-party contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and service providers on site.

· Perform rounds, take operational readings, and conduct initial equipment performance assessments under supervision.

· Monitor maintenance and operations of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems with supervision.

· Assist with emergency monitoring and response using EOPs, ensuring adherence to safety and physical security procedures.

· Record daily operational readings for electrical equipment, including temperatures, voltages, and currents.

· Follow SOPs for planned critical environment work activities and energize cabinets in colocation environments.

· Conduct UPS, system control panel, and battery preventive maintenance on quarterly and annual cycles.

· Support troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and calibration of instrument sensors.

· Support electrical infrastructure across the data center campus, including large-capacity and smaller facilities.

· Operate and support BMS/EPMS and related monitoring platforms.

· Execute RPP single-source shutdowns, PDU shutdowns for meter replacement, Power Interruption Testing, and master controller shutdowns or replacements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Previous data center experience.

· OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E certification.

· Experience with electrical systems in high-availability or critical infrastructure environments (e.g., data centers, refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing).

· Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.

· 5+ years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields such as electrical, controls, automotive, or data center operations.

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

· Ability to work flexible schedules, including 12-hour and rotating shifts across 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks.

· Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with EPMS/BMS platforms and power distribution equipment such as UPS, RPP, and PDU.

· Troubleshooting skills for sensors, metering, and control panels.

Schedule & Work Details:

· A-Side night shift: Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday.

· B-Side night shift: Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday.

· Work location: Goodyear, AZ campus.

· Supplier-provided Windows 11 compatible laptop required.

· Supplier-provided PPE required: lace-up steel or composite toe boots that cover the ankle, include slip-resistant soles, and meet ASTM F2413-05.
