Chef / Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and driven culinary professional to join our team in a leadership support role that blends creativity, execution, and kitchen management. This position is ideal for a Chef, Sous Chef, or experienced Kitchen Supervisor looking to grow within a refined dining environment.

Position Overview

As a key member of our culinary team, you will work closely with the Executive Chef and management to ensure the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and kitchen operations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organization, and a commitment to excellence—both in-house and at off-site events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily kitchen operations, including prep, service, and execution
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Support menu development, seasonal offerings, and special events
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to uphold service standards
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control alongside leadership
  • Step into leadership roles as needed during service
  • Assist with catering production and execution, including off-site events
  • Coordinate logistics, prep, and transport for off-site catering services
  • Ensure the same level of quality and presentation is delivered outside the restaurant

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a refined dining or upscale restaurant preferred
  • Experience with catering or off-site events is highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, plating, and kitchen operations
  • Leadership experience or readiness to grow into a leadership role
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to both in-house service and off-site event execution
  • Passion for hospitality and attention to detail
