Clinical Nurse III, M5

Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and clinically skilled Clinical Nurse III, M5 to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this advanced staff nurse role, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to a diverse population of patients, drawing on your experience and sound clinical judgment to promote safe, high-quality outcomes across the continuum of care. As a Clinical Nurse III, you will perform in-depth patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, administer medications and treatments, and evaluate patient responses, collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the broader interdisciplinary team.

You will be a key clinical resource on the unit, supporting and mentoring less experienced nurses and support staff, modeling best practices, and helping to foster a positive and inclusive team culture. You will use advanced nursing skills to manage complex and rapidly changing patient conditions, recognize early signs of deterioration, and respond quickly and appropriately to emergent situations. Meticulous documentation in the electronic medical record, adherence to infection prevention and patient safety protocols, and a commitment to regulatory compliance are essential components of this role.
