Maintain productivity percentage at a rate establsihed for the Fiscal Year goal.</li> <li>Sends out daily appeals to insurance companies for denied claims to maintain consistent cash flow of assigned A/R. All denied accounts to be worked via the rejection views and have accurate action taken assigned for completion.</li> <li>Resolves incoming correspondence or telephone inquiries in a timely manner in accordance with payer deadlines, and in a manner that address the needs of internal/external customers.</li> <li>Documents on system all action taken on account so that it clearly communicates action taken.</li> <li>Demonstrates knowledge and use of ETM, GE Centricity Business, and otehr related PBS Software.</li> </ul> <h2>Job Requirements</h2> <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED</li> <li>Three (3) years physician billing/collection experience or other related healthcare provider claims experience in a high volume medical healthcare claim environment (Includes health plan physician claims/reimbursement/appeals experience)</li> <li>AHCCCS/ Medicare/ government commercial payer experience</li> <li>HCFA1500 billing experience</li> <li>Knowledge of insurance plan intricacies</li> <li>Current knowledge of CPT/HCPC and revenue codes</li> <li>Knowledge of collection guidelines and regulations</li> <li>Previous experience with computerized billing system, MS Word and Excel</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>College level business courses</li> <li>Five (5) years physician billing/collection experience or other related healthcare provider claims experience in a high volume medical healthcare claim environment (Includes health plan physician claims/reimbursement/ appeals experience.)</li> <li>Two (2) years relevant college education plus experience</li> </ul>
