We are currently seeking a Coord - Media Planning & Strategy to join our Audience & Media Strategy , based in our New York, New York office . JOB SUMMARY The coordinator is primarily responsible for executing the daily promotional initiatives, the scheduling of primary and secondary events on network(s) logs. This position is also responsible for VOD / DAI promotional execution.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically schedule all promotional and secondary events according to weekly plans
  • Track and monitor all programming changes ensuring all promotional assets are accurately driving to the correct time/date
  • Collaborate daily with internal team and as needed, with counterparts within the AMCN portfolio
  • Coordinate daily with Commercial Operations to time out logs and facilitate accurate show formats
  • Partner with Creative Services with the on-going delivery of assets, screen content and flag any issues/concerns
  • Communicate with network operations for all promotional issues and concerns, in and outside of, work hours
  • Utilize internal databases to input new promotional deliveries and details to enable scheduling on the logs during the appropriate flight windows.
  • Maintain internal tracking documents
  • Generate reports and provide insights into competitive tactics and best practices within the media landscape
  • Key relationships: Creative services, Network Ops, Comm Ops, Media Management, Program Scheduling
  • Assist department in all areas

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in Media Planning, Advanced Platforms or Program Scheduling
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably with communications / marketing major
  • Computer experience with proficiency in MS Office, working knowledge of streaming services and operations, TVE and FVOD
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, accountable, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task to efficiently meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organization skills
  • Passionate about films and tv
