Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, Pharmacy Services, you will be responsible for performing outreach attempts and handling inbound calls for our Molina Healthcare members. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, address member inquiries, and facilitate medication reviews and appointments. You will work closely with our pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our members receive the support they need to manage their health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound pharmacy calls: Respond to member inquiries, address concerns, and provide information about medication benefits and services.
  • Medication reviews and appointments: Transfer members to internal departments for medication reviews, schedule appointments, and act as a liaison between other departments.
  • HIPAA compliance: Ensure that all interactions with members, providers, and pharmacies are conducted in accordance with HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
  • Clerical support: Provide administrative support to pharmacists and technicians, including data entry, record-keeping, and other tasks as needed.
  • Communication and education: Effectively communicate Medicare and Medicaid plan benefits to existing members and provide education on medication management and adherence.
  • Collaboration and teamwork: Work closely with primary care providers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that member needs are met and that our services are delivered in a coordinated and efficient manner.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve member relations, streamline processes, and enhance the overall quality of our services.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalency required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of call center or customer service experience; healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Skills and abilities:
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, MS Teams, and Outlook).
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's degree.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of call center or customer service experience; healthcare industry experience.
