Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on potential security threats and incidents.
  • Support the execution of security audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Collaborate with senior security analysts to review system configurations and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in risk assessment exercises and contribute to remediation strategies.
  • Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and threat modeling.
  • Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and networking protocols.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.

Experience

  • Previous internships, projects, or coursework related to cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or IT security is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time or part-time options available, flexible to accommodate academic schedules.
