Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Specialist – Client Onboarding (COB) to support end-to-end client onboarding processes. The role involves managing account setup, maintaining customer master data, ensuring compliance with KYC requirements, and collaborating with regional and global stakeholders to deliver seamless onboarding experiences.Key Responsibilities
- Manage client account setup through integrated systems and processes.
- Create, amend, and review customer records for trade and insurance-related counterparties in internal databases.
- Issue and maintain customer numbers across Marsh systems for Asia (excluding Japan).
- Support Relationship Managers in capturing client servicing preferences and provide status updates.
- Coordinate with regional, country, and global teams for data validation, research, and repository updates.
- Conduct sanction screening across multiple jurisdictions to meet KYC and regulatory requirements.
- Perform entity matching to ensure data accuracy and avoid duplication in global databases.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity and consistency in customer management systems.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders regarding onboarding policies, procedures, and data standards.
- Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational projects.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and changes.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing for audit and compliance purposes.
Experience
- 3–4 years of experience in the Insurance and/or Financial Services industry.
- Prior experience in Customer Master Data management is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a strong academic record from a reputable university.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret and summarize data.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines.
