Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to develop, test, and deploy machine learning models.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Assist in designing data pipelines and implementing algorithms for predictive modeling, classification, and clustering.
  • Participate in the full machine learning lifecycle: data collection, preprocessing, model building, evaluation, and optimization.
  • Document methodologies, experiments, and findings clearly and effectively.
  • Present results and insights to cross-functional teams and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data science and AI.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts, data preprocessing, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience

  • Prior internship or academic project experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exposure to real-world datasets and hands-on modeling projects will be advantageous.

Working Hours

  • Full-time internship: 8–10 hours per day.
  • Flexible hours may be considered based on academic commitments.
  • Duration: 3–6 months, with a possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance.
