We are seeking a skilled and attentive Poker Dealer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating poker games, ensuring all rules are followed, and maintaining the integrity of each game. You will also interact with players, providing excellent customer service and assisting with any inquiries.

This role will be in-person located in our TCH location: Dallas


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal cards efficiently and accurately according to Texas Card House game variations and Texas Hold'em poker rules.
  • Enforce game rules and maintain a fair and controlled game environment.
  • Calculate pot odds, payouts, and win conditions.
  • Collect bets, rake chips, and ensure proper chip denomination distribution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized table with proper card handling procedures.
  • Identify and address suspicious player behavior and potential cheating attempts.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering player questions, resolving conflicts professionally, and fostering a positive atmosphere.
  • Operate with a high level of integrity and maintain confidentiality of player information.
  • Set up and break down tables efficiently.
  • Collaborate effectively with Floor Supervisors and other dealers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Floor Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of Texas Hold'em poker rules and hand rankings (Required).
  • Experience dealing poker in a casino or card house setting (preferred).
  • Strong math skills with the ability to perform quick mental calculations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage players and maintain a positive atmosphere.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and handle chips with dexterity.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment:

  • Casino gaming environment with noise, bright lights, and high-energy atmosphere.

Shift availability:

  • Day shifts
  • Evening shifts
  • Night shifts
  • Weekends/Holidays as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is an on-site, in-person role.
  • Mobility: Ability to stand and move around the gaming floor for extended periods, including bending and reaching to deal cards and manage chips.
  • Dexterity: Ability to handle and shuffle cards, collect chips, and make precise chip payouts with accuracy.
  • Vision: Ability to see and read cards, chips, and gaming equipment clearly to ensure proper game play and monitor for discrepancies.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear player and dealer communications, including verbal requests and game-related instructions, in a noisy environment.
  • Communication: Clear verbal communication with players, floor staff, and supervisors to enforce game rules, answer questions, and maintain a positive environment.
  • Endurance: Ability to remain focused and perform duties during long shifts in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift and carry items such as card decks, chips, and game supplies, weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Environment: Ability to work in a busy and potentially noisy gaming environment with fluctuating activity levels and exposure to varying temperatures.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
  • Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
  • Pay: From $30 - $40+ hourly
