Full-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Wanted at Excellence Derma Care Center in Shawnee, KS Excellence Derma Care Center is a healthcare technology platform reimagining what dermatology should look like in the 21st century. We are vertically-integrated platform powers a bespoke experience for every patient, from digital diagnosis to medication delivery, to ongoing care. We are the only company to combine a nationwide network of dermatologists and a prescription compounding facility to provide world-class dermatology care at a fraction of the cost or hassle of the traditional healthcare system. We are currently hiring nurse practitioners to treat patients on our platform. You will play a critical role in helping people get easier, more affordable access to quality dermatological care. This is a full-time role. Responsibilities: Conduct video consultations and message with patients, including assessing, screening, diagnosing, and prescribing medication for patients as necessary. Work in close conjunction with a board-certified dermatologist. Adhere to guidelines and complete all required training. Provide clinical services to individuals who otherwise may not have access to care. Handle patient care by answering patient clinical questions, prescribing medication as appropriate, and providing medical guidance as necessary. Have the opportunity to provide clinical care for a variety of conditions, including acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, anti-aging, sparse eyelashes, and male pattern hair loss. Qualifications: An active Nurse Practitioner state license in good standing. Master's degree in Nursing or a related field, with a specialization in Dermatology. 1+ years of dermatology experience in a dedicated dermatology practice. Confidence in diagnosing and treating a diverse range of dermatological conditions. Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records. In-depth knowledge of the latest dermatology treatments, medications, and procedures. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and collaborate with the dermatology team. Ability to adapt to a technology-driven healthcare environment. Experience with minor dermatological procedures, such as biopsies or excisions. Familiarity with insurance and billing procedures related to dermatology services. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on advancements in dermatology. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Empathy and compassion for patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the treatment process. Attention to detail in documenting patient history, diagnosis, and treatment plans. Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of patient consultations efficiently. Dedication to providing patient-centered care and promoting positive patient outcomes.
