Job Summary

Disney Animation is seeking highly creative and motivated interns to join our Motion Graphics & VFX team. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and development of motion graphics, visual effects, and animated sequences for feature films, short films, and digital content.
  • Support the VFX team in compositing, rotoscoping, tracking, and integrating CGI elements with live-action footage.
  • Collaborate with senior artists and directors to conceptualize and execute creative ideas.
  • Maintain and organize project assets, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to Disney Animation standards.
  • Participate in team reviews, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance visual storytelling.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in animation and visual effects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong foundational knowledge in motion graphics, animation, and visual effects.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as After Effects, Nuke, Maya, Houdini, or Cinema 4D.
  • Solid understanding of compositing, color grading, and VFX pipeline workflows.
  • Ability to translate creative concepts into visually compelling animations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take constructive feedback.

Experience

  • Prior academic or project experience in motion graphics, animation, or VFX is preferred but not mandatory.
