Elementary Teacher – Sunshine Learning Miami

Sunshine Learning Miami is a small private K–12 microschool focused on creating a positive, engaging, and low-stress learning environment where students can genuinely enjoy learning. With approximately 80 students total and a 1:10 student-to-teacher ratio, we prioritize individualized support, hands-on learning, creativity, and meaningful relationships over high-pressure academics and excessive testing.

We believe students learn best through experiences, encouragement, curiosity, and connection. Our classrooms emphasize collaboration, experimentation, well-being and making education something students look forward to.

We are currently seeking a full-time Elementary Teacher to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Teach core elementary subjects in a small classroom setting
  • Create engaging, hands-on lessons and activities
  • Foster a positive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Support students academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Collaborate with other staff members and families
  • Help contribute to field trips, experiments, projects, and experiential learning opportunities
  • Adapt instruction to meet individual student needs

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children required
  • Teaching experience preferred
