Email Marketing Executive – Student Re-engagement Specialist

Job Summary

GradeBuzz is seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Email Marketing Executive specializing in student re-engagement strategies. This role is ideal for someone who understands the nuances of student behavior in the EdTech ecosystem and can design compelling email campaigns to re-activate inactive users, nurture leads, and drive conversions. You will play a critical role in strengthening student relationships and improving retention through targeted communication and personalized engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns focused on student re-engagement and retention.

Segment user databases to create personalized and behavior-driven email journeys.

Develop high-converting email copy, subject lines, and CTAs tailored to students preparing for competitive exams.

Monitor campaign performance using key metrics such as open rates, CTR, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates.

Conduct A/B testing to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.

Collaborate with content, product, and growth teams to align messaging with ongoing campaigns and offerings.

Maintain email hygiene, ensuring compliance with anti-spam laws and best practices.

Automate lifecycle email flows including onboarding, reactivation, reminders, and drip campaigns.

Analyze user engagement patterns and suggest improvements for better retention strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Strong understanding of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar tools.

Excellent copywriting and communication skills in English.

Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and campaign tracking.

Familiarity with CRM systems and customer segmentation strategies.

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email customization is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in email marketing, preferably in EdTech or digital platforms.

Proven track record of executing successful email campaigns that improved engagement and retention.

Experience working with student or education-focused audiences is highly desirable.

Working Hours
