You will move our customers' key initiatives from concept to implementation, solving problems and delivering exceptional satisfaction.</p><p>As an Engagement Manager II, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class="lst">Owning program and/or project management and playing a trusted advisor that customers get the most value out of solutions.</li><li class="lst">Being an expert and technical advisor to architect and manage the web performance and security solutions.</li><li class="lst">Defining an account strategy, establishing key relationships, and building and maintaining a project pipeline.</li><li class="lst">Leading a cross functional team and developing a culture of excellence to empower and encourage team synergy.</li><li class="lst">Partnering with sales and pre-sales to help expand the use of services and solutions.</li></ul><p><strong>Do what you love</strong></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li class="lst">Have 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or its equivalent</li><li class="lst">Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role and an understanding of the consulting complex web content delivery and security strategies to ensure customer success</li><li class="lst">Have experience managing and delivering large technical customer projects successfully</li><li class="lst">Have experience in web development technologies, methodologies and languages such as HTTP/S, DNS, TCP, WebSockets, APIs, LLMs, MCPs, etc.</li><li class="lst">Have excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills and articulate technical information in a easy to understand manner</li><li class="lst">Be a team player with an ability to work independently and as part of a remote team</li></ul><p><strong>Build your career at Akamai</strong></p><p>Our ability to shape digital life today relies on developing exceptional people like you. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $119,600 - $215,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
