The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical reports from audio recordings provided by physicians and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Listen to recorded medical dictations from doctors and healthcare providers.
  • Accurately transcribe and format medical reports, ensuring correct medical terminology and grammar.
  • Review transcriptions for errors and correct inconsistencies before submission.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA or other applicable data protection regulations.
  • Meet daily and weekly transcription targets to support healthcare operations.
  • Collaborate with the medical and administrative team to clarify unclear audio recordings or content.
  • Keep up-to-date with medical terminology, abbreviations, and transcription software updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
  • Proficiency in typing and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience:

  • Prior experience as a Medical Transcriptionist is preferred but not mandatory. Freshers with relevant training in medical transcription will be considered.
