Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time experienced Barista who is confident working with espresso, comfortable in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality coffee and beverages. Starting hourly rate is $16 plus tips that typically range from $50-$90 per shift per person

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
  • Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
  • Manage time effectively to handle busy periods while ensuring quality service at all times
  • Assist in food preparation and serving pre-made sandwich items in accordance with health regulations
  • Open the delivery boxes during your shift and place them onto shelves etc. Be able to lift heavy boxes and carry them.

Experience

  • Proven barista experience in a fast-paced café or food service environment
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, food safety practices, and food handling procedures
  • Familiarity with Square POS system
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
  • Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
  • Previous experience in the food industry with a focus on customer service
  • Knowledge of food preparation, food service standards, and proper food handling procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
