About the Role
The Family Law Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys to support active family law matters from case opening through litigation. This role requires strong drafting skills, attention to deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and client care.

The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, and comfortable taking initiative in a structured legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys in family law litigation matters
  • Draft, prepare, and revise pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence
  • Prepare financial affidavits and assist with document collection and case organization
  • Manage case files, deadlines, court dates, and litigation calendars
  • Coordinate filings and service of documents
  • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties in a professional manner
  • Assist attorneys with hearing, mediation, deposition, and trial preparation
  • Maintain accurate case information and documentation in Clio or other case management systems
  • Help ensure files are moving forward efficiently and no deadlines are missed

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Strong drafting experience with pleadings, discovery, and litigation support documents
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines effectively
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Ability to work in-office in Coconut Grove

Preferred Qualifications

  • Family law experience
  • Experience with Clio
  • Spanish-speaking ability
