Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance and Administration Manager to lead the company's financial operations and administrative functions across Latin America. This role is responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls, while also managing administrative processes that support business operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capability, strategic financial insight, and hands-on execution experience in a remote, multi-country environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and month-end/year-end close.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial, tax, and statutory regulations across assigned Latin American jurisdictions.
  • Prepare, review, and present accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to senior leadership.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and procedures to ensure governance and risk mitigation.
  • Manage and optimize the use of accounting systems, ERP tools, and financial reporting platforms.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Oversee administrative operations, including vendor management, contracts, documentation, and operational support functions.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance oversight to accounting and administrative team members.
  • Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree or professional certification is a plus).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working with Latin American financial regulations and multi-entity environments is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong capability in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setup.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
