About the Role:

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) plays a strategic role in driving business performance through financial insight, analysis, and collaboration. Acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders, this role partners closely with operational teams to support strategic planning, optimize financial performance, and enable data-driven decision-making. The FBP will also contribute to financial digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment between financial strategy, business objectives, and the company’s long-term vision.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with business units to provide financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic insights, supporting the achievement of business and financial objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to operational leaders, translating financial data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Deliver timely, data-driven financial analysis to senior management, supporting key strategic and operational decisions.
  • Conduct performance reviews, variance analysis, and profitability assessments to identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Lead and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to enhance financial systems and reporting processes.
  • Drive automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements in financial reporting and analytics through digital tools.
  • Analyze foreign exchange markets and company financial exposure, providing insights and recommendations to mitigate financial risks.
  • Support management in navigating financial challenges through scenario analysis and risk assessments.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term corporate goals.

  • Act as a key liaison between finance and operations, fostering seamless collaboration and alignment across functions.
  • Provide expert financial guidance to support cross-functional and regional initiatives.
Job Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualifications are highly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights.
  • Proven experience in financial digital transformation, with hands-on knowledge of ERP systems, BI tools, and financial analytics platforms to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prior experience in large technology or multinational companies (e.g., Huawei) is preferred, with exposure to global operations and cross-cultural working environments.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions and regions.
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written Chinese & English, enabling effective communication with international stakeholders.
