In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, contribute to Agile development processes, and ensure high-quality outcomes. You'll play a critical role in solution design, system analysis, testing, documentation, and production support, ensuring that solutions are scalable, efficient, and align with business objectives.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with Agile teams to define lean requirements and user stories, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.</li><li>Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, supporting solution design and data modeling with a focus on scalability, automation, and long-term supportability.</li><li>Act as a liaison between business units such as Sales, Claims, and Customer Service, and technical teams, building consensus on technical solutions and ensuring alignment with overall project goals.</li><li>Partner with developers and QA teams to define and execute test cases, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and demonstrating an understanding of various testing methodologies including static, dynamic, integration, and regression testing.</li><li>Assist with release planning, deployments, and post-launch support, troubleshooting and resolving technical and functional issues, and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of systems and reporting processes.</li><li>Document workflows, data mappings, and system interactions, participating in design reviews and other quality assurance activities to ensure best practices are followed.</li><li>Take ownership of assigned work and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, contributing to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and process improvement.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong analytical and technical aptitude.</li><li>Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.</li><li>Experience with Power BI and Databricks is highly beneficial.</li><li>Ability to work with large sets of data and make insightful recommendations.</li><li>Experience with finance-related tasks such as journal entries, premium, claims, and billing.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with a preference for senior-level expertise.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Industry experience in healthcare is a plus.</li><li>Education is nice to have but not required.</li><li>Self-starter with a strong ability to work independently and lead analysis.</li><li>Effective communication skills, willing to ask questions and share ideas.</li><li>Ability to collaborate with managers and directors in a laid-back team environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>This is a fully remote position, open to candidates outside Omaha, with the possibility of occasional office visits for those located in Omaha. Standard working hours are 8-5 or 7-4, following the Central Time Zone. Meetings are typically scheduled between 9-3 to accommodate various time zones. The role starts as a standard 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension into the first quarter of 2027. Being on camera for meetings is important, and daily 9 AM meetings are scheduled for team updates.</p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $43.46 - $45.19/hr.</p><p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
