The Pima County Department of Finance & Risk Management is looking for a motivated and team-oriented individual to join their Budget Division. This position is responsible for assisting in developing, preparing, and administering the annual budgets for County departments. Other responsibilities include compiling and analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and monitoring budget performance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, economics, business, or public administration, or a closely related field, as defined by the department head at the time of recruitment AND two years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, financial analysis, financial management, or budgeting. (A Master’s degree or CPA designation may substitute for one year of required experience.) (Relevant experience and/or education from an accredited college or university may be substituted.) OR: One year with Pima County in an Accountant II – Central Services, Financial Analyst II – Central Services, or related position as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment.
