Financial Planning and Budgeting Analyst

<h2>Overview</h2> <p>The Financial Planning & Budget Analyst will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for supporting the CFO with detailed analysis of business opportunities, business performance, and budget development & analysis. This role will involve working closely with various departments to gather and analyze data, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in medical services and ancillary health insurance.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Conduct thorough financial analysis of potential business opportunities.</li> <li>Evaluate the financial impact of new projects, partnerships, and services.</li> <li>Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.</li> <li>Support the monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business units.</li> <li>Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.</li> <li>Provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.</li> <li>Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual budget.</li> <li>Analyze budget variances and provide explanations and recommendations.</li> <li>Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting.</li> <li>Support the preparation and presentation of financial reports to the CFO and senior management.</li> <li>Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.</li> <li>Support the monthly and quarterly financial closing processes.</li> <li>Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data.</li> <li>Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations.</li> <li>Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.</li> <li>Perform ad hoc financial analysis as requested by the CFO or other senior management.</li> <li>Support special projects and initiatives as needed.</li> <li>Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.</li> <li>Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.</li> <li>To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities.
