Flight Operations Scheduler

<p><strong>Location: Bullsbrook, Western Australia, Australia</strong></p><p><strong>Assistance with cost of relocation provided.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The <strong>Basic Wings Course (BWC)</strong> is the RSAF’s foundational pilot training program. It develops core <strong>flying skills, airmanship, and aviation knowledge</strong>, preparing trainees for advanced training and operational conversion on RSAF aircraft. The program combines <strong>ground academics and practical flying</strong>, covering navigation, formation flying, instrument flying, and emergency procedures. Graduates of the BWC will embark on Advanced Wings Course for type specific training before being awarded the coveted RSAF wings.</p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Flight</strong> <strong>Scheduler</strong> to plan and manage scheduling requirements for the <strong>BWC</strong>, <strong>Flying Instructor Course (FIC)</strong>, and <strong>Competency to Instruct (C-I)</strong> syllabi. This role ensures optimal use of aircraft and resources while maintaining safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan, develop, and manage course schedules to optimise aircraft utilisation and resources.</li><li>Revise schedules and provide economic analysis to meet current and long-term requirements.</li><li>Maintain and update publications and ground academic materials using Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Deliver ground briefs and academics according to BWC lesson plans.</li><li>Conduct instructional sessions in simulators and performance record briefings as required.</li><li>Act as a <strong>Subject Matter Expert (SME)</strong> in <strong>Training Integrated Management System (TIMS)</strong> or other scheduling systems.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in flight scheduling for an RSAF flying unit.</li><li>Significant experience as a <strong>Qualified Flight Instructor (QFI)</strong> with <strong>≥250 flight instructional hours</strong>.</li><li>Familiarity with RSAF flying operations and training requirements.</li><li>RSAF Qualified Flying Instructor certification.</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in a customer liaison role.</li><li>RSAF PC-21 experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Special Requirements:</strong></p><p>Applicants are required to hold a Singapore Security Clearance.</p><p>Ability to obtain a subclass 482 visa to work in Western Australia, Australia.</p><p>Employment may be contingent on the satisfactory result of criminal and/or other background screens, which require the collection and transfer of personal information.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>How we reward you:</strong></p><p>When you join Lockheed Martin, you work on projects you won’t experience anywhere else.
