Franchise Fitness Consultant - Orangetheory Fitness

Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, The Bar Method, and Basecamp Fitness, is seeking a Franchise Fitness Consultant (FFC) to join its team. The FFC is a senior field leadership role responsible for fitness execution and overall studio performance outcomes across approximately 100–150 studios (25–50 franchisees). This role combines deep fitness expertise with business acumen, including member acquisition, retention, utilization, and overall member experience. The FFC partners closely with a Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) and is capable of supporting complete territory ownership if required. Location Note: The Franchise Fitness Consultant (FFC) is based within their assigned territory and provides support across multiple states and communities. This role requires up to 65% travel within the territory to visit franchise studios, deliver trainings, and support fitness initiatives. When not traveling, the FFC will work from a remote home office. Territory Openings (one FFC per territory): • Atlanta/Nashville • Charlotte/DMV • Dallas/Houston/Austin Purpose/Impact (Duties & Essential Functions) Ensure consistent, high-quality workout delivery and member experience across the network. Coach franchisees, head coaches, and studio leaders on fitness behaviors that drive retention, utilization, and operational best practices, including scheduling optimization. Elevate coaching quality tied directly to business outcomes through workshops, trainings, and consultations. Facilitate OTFit certifications, OTFit Facilitator, and continuing education programs. Guide studios through national fitness initiatives and system-wide rollouts. Analyze KPIs linking coaching quality to studio performance, such as new member acquisition and retention. Collaborate with Learning & Development and Fitness teams to address performance gaps, opportunities, and operational needs for franchisees. Review studio compliance, network certification, and brand experience requirements. Strengths Proven leadership experience in fitness environments. Multi-unit leadership experience. Strong analytical and business acumen. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Passion for fitness, coaching excellence, and delivering exceptional member experiences. Ability to guide, mentor, and influence studio teams effectively. Background Required: Minimum 1 year of Orangetheory Fitness studio experience. Nationally recognized personal training certification (ACE GFI, NASM PT, ACSM PT, NSCA, NCSF). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in a fitness support role. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant fields include Sports Management, Health & Wellness, or related discipline. Preferred: Multi-unit leadership experience. Strong analytical and business acumen. Experience collaborating with corporate Learning & Development or Fitness teams. Salary Range: $75k-85k What’s in it for you?
