The company is seeking a highly hands-on Accountant to manage financial operations, improve financial accuracy, strengthen operational controls, and provide leadership with reliable financial data to support business decisions. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, operations, inventory, and financial analysis within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>Location</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">Fully Remote | 9 AM - 5 PM EST</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>Role Overview</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">The Full Stack Accountant will own the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the company’s financial books and operational accounting processes.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is not a pure bookkeeping role. The position requires a highly operational finance professional who can manage reconciliations, deductions, inventory accounting, accounts receivable, budgeting oversight, financial reporting, and compliance while helping leadership maintain visibility into financial performance and operational risks.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">The ideal candidate is highly hands-on, analytical, proactive, and comfortable operating within fast-moving and imperfect systems while taking ownership of financial accuracy and operational outcomes.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>Books Ownership & Month-End Close</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own the full general ledger and monthly close process end-to-end</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Deliver accurate Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flow reports by agreed close deadlines</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support year-end close activities and external CPA workpaper preparation</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintain a clean, logical, and consistent chart of accounts and class tracking structure</p></li></ul><h3>Accounts Receivable & Deduction Management</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Track invoices and proactively manage collections</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Gather, review, and apply sales and remittance details from vendor portals and EDI systems</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Research and resolve short pays, chargebacks, deductions, and discrepancies</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Monitor aging reports and address overdue accounts before escalation</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Pursue valid chargeback reversals and document recovery outcomes</p></li></ul><h3>Inventory & COGS Accuracy</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own landed cost calculations</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Run inventory reconciliations and validate inventory balances against physical counts</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Record approved inventory adjustments, shrink, and write-offs</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Validate inventory purchases against budgets and cash flow considerations</p></li></ul><h3>Reporting & Compliance</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Calculate product-level margin and contribution margin by SKU</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Analyze margin performance across channels including Costco, Sam’s Club, and DTC</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Evaluate TPRs, discounts, and markdown impacts</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Monitor sales tax returns and submit corrections where needed</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support external CPA partners with financial statements, audits, and tax preparation materials</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Surface financial trends, risks, discrepancies, and anomalies proactively to
