Functional duties include Employee Relations, Leave and Benefits Administration, Employee Development, and Policy Administration.</p> <p>*<span>This will be a remote position with travel up to 40%.  The team is seeking a candidate based in Florida. The candidate will have responsibility for multi-site HR overview and heavy employee relations.</span></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provides radical collaboration to provide internal customer support by modeling robust service approach to foster a strong team environment.</li> <li>Delivers coaching support, conflict resolution, and best practices necessary for creating a culture of employee development and engagement for internal customers.</li> <li>Collaborates with internal customers to create and support succession planning, performance management, and talent acquisition as successful engagement strategies.</li> <li>Manages policy administration through continuous and collaborative review of policy questions, investigations, and interpretations, assuring low-risk and defensible disciplinary actions.</li> <li>Analyzes and investigates compliance with federal, state, and local statues and judicial rulings pertaining to but not limited to EEO/FMLA/WC/ADA facilitating the delivery of consultative support.</li> <li>Coordinates records and data management supporting leave administration and disciplinary actions helping maintain the company’s compliance.</li> <li>Performs other tasks as identified.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field</li> <li>Minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources, preference for prior employee relations work experience and experience working in a multi-site environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skill/knowledge:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must have strong verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Knowledge of state and federal requirements and regulations in multiple states</li> <li>Candidate should have a very good working knowledge of FMLA and ADA – as well as familiarity with EEOC, CRA, HIPAA and FLSA</li> <li>Current SPHR/PHR certification preferred</li> </ul>
