This role will work as part of a small team in a cross functional manner across all HR systems, processes and procedures. Improve the overall HR function through involvement in HR projects.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide support to line management in terms of interpreting and implementing HR policies and procedures</li> <li>Provide a professional advisory and administrative service to business colleagues across a broad range of HR queries and processes</li> <li>Support the Cluster HR Directors in one or more HR process areas, advising on policy /service impacts of proposed process changes ensuring they are compliant </li> <li>Advise management at all levels on current employment and related legislation and provide guidance on possible future legislation</li> <li>Provide skills and knowledge to efficiently deliver an outstanding performance against agreed SLAs</li> <li>Manage employee lifecycle</li> <li>Manage delivery of assigned tasks and queries within scope of personal and team workload and agreed handoffs</li> <li>Analyse ServiceNow HR caseload individually and across the team and identify improvements and issues</li> <li>Work in rotation as part of ServiceNow HR managing stakeholders to ensure queries are dealt with in a timely manner to meet SLAs and customer service principles</li> <li>Signpost and transfer employees to other HR service lines where appropriate</li> <li>Manage assigned ServiceNow HR cases on own initiative and work with HR Directors in dealing with complex cases</li> <li>Identify and raise continuous improvement opportunities to the HR Operations Director</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Position Requirements </strong></p> <ul> <li>Fluent English skills.</li> <li>Preferably degree educated or HR Shared Services advisor experience</li> <li>Knowledge and expertise with a recognised HR qualification preferred, CIPD (or similar European qualification) or qualified through experience</li> <li>Generalist HR advisory experience across a range of HR activities/processes with specialism in one or more HR process areas</li> <li>Demonstrable success in an HR Service role</li> <li>Excellent understanding and experience of working with HR systems preferred (Success Factors)</li> <li>Sound working knowledge of EMEA employment law</li> <li>Diagnostic and analytical skills with the ability to listen actively, ask probing questions and analyse requirements</li> <li>Ability to apply judgement to resolve individual cases</li> <li>Ability to identify and address or escalate risk</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Credibly provides sound advice, accurate information and timely support to all stakeholders</li> <li>Keep up to date with policy, process and documentation changes maintaining ability to respond to a full range of HR queries</li> <li>Confidentiality with the ability to handle sensitive situations within data protection legislation.</li> <li>Managing difficult and sometimes stressful interactions</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><em>Kyowa Kirin International is an equal opportunities employer.</em></p> <p><strong><em> </em></strong></p> <p>No agencies please.</p>
