We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative</p><p>that is goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple customer accounts while</p><p>consistently delivering exceptional service.</p><p><br></p><p>The Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving revenue by engaging with</p><p>both potential and existing customers to understand their needs and offer tailored</p><p>solutions. This position involves managing a portfolio of accounts, cultivating strong</p><p>client relationships, and driving sales growth through proactive outreach and successful</p><p>deal closures. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative oversees the entire quote to</p><p>order processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This position requires close</p><p>coordination with various departments and customers to guarantee timely product</p><p>delivery while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Customer Relationship Management:</strong></p><p>o Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.</p><p>o Act as a point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional responses to inquiries.</p><p>o Understand customer needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions to meet their business needs.</p><p>o Communicate with customers to provide updates on order status and handle any inquiries or concerns.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Quote and Order Processing:</strong></p><p>o Process quotes and customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product selection, pricing, and delivery schedules.</p><p>o Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, including returns and exchanges.</p><p>o Escalate complex issues to management when necessary.</p><p>o Implement solutions to prevent recurring problems.</p><p>o Understand the products we sell and the part numbering schemes.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Sales and Revenue Generation:</strong></p><p>o Identify and target new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels.</p><p>o Work with the direct Field Sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets by converting leads into opportunities for existing and new customers and upselling to existing clients.</p><p>o Focus on building lasting relationships that go beyond transactional sales, fostering repeat customers and driving long-term growth.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Account Management:</strong></p><p>o Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.</p><p>o Regularly review account performance, identifying areas for growth and improvement.</p><p>o Develop and execute account plans to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Collaboration and Teamwork:</strong></p><p>o Work closely with Inside Sales Manager and direct Field Sales teams and other team members to develop and implement sales strategies.</p><p>o Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer insights and market trends.</p><p>o Work with Operations to properly manage offsite inventory locations for customers or suppliers to ensure min/max levels are set appropriately and sufficient parts are in stock when needed.</p><p>o Coordinate with procurement to replenish stock as needed.</p><p>o Liaise with logistics and shipping departments to organize the dispatch and delivery of orders, optimizing cost and efficiency.</p><p>o Collaborate with direct Field Sales and the customer to ensure a seamless order fulfillment process.</p><p>o Coordinate with the inventory management team to check product availability and reserve stock for orders as needed.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Reporting and Analysis:</strong></p><p>o Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and account information in the CRM system.</p><p>o Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics and opportunities.</p><p>o Observe market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay informed and competitive.</p><p>o Monitor and analyze order management metrics to identify areas for improvement.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience and Qualifications:</strong></p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred but not required) with 5+ years of proven experience in relevant inside sales or customer service field.</p><p>• Proven experience in order management systems using Sage (preferred)</p><p>• Knowledge of Structured Cabling and Optical Transceivers is a plus.</p><p>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.</p><p>• Strong negotiation and closing skills.</p><p>• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>• Capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</p><p>• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</p><p>• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.</p><p>• Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize.</p><p>• Detail orientated
