Job Summary

SecureCare Insurance is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Insurance Claims Processor to join our remote operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and processing insurance claims efficiently and accurately while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to our clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze incoming insurance claims for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.
  • Verify policy coverage, claimant information, and supporting documentation.
  • Process claims in a timely manner according to established company guidelines.
  • Communicate with policyholders, claimants, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or obtain additional information.
  • Maintain detailed records of claims, adjustments, and communications in the company system.
  • Identify potential fraud, errors, or inconsistencies and escalate cases as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on insurance policies, regulations, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in insurance claims processing or related administrative roles is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and claims processing software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in insurance claims processing, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
  • Familiarity with health, auto, or property insurance claims is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time remote position.
  • Flexible schedule may be available, but core hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (local time).
  • Occasional extended hours may be required during high-volume periods.
