PEOPLE TEAM The People team plays a pivotal role in supporting the business by strategically overseeing the complete employee journey. From drawing in top talent and fostering a high-performance culture and career development, they are instrumental in creating a positive and inclusive workplace environment and managing our workspaces.
LONDON Our London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, and is home to a wide range of teams. Our open space is ideal for collaborative work and sharing ideas. We also have a large outdoor terrace, which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.
THE ROLE In this role we are looking for a Interim Talent Acquisition Specialist who can join us immediately to support on an fixed term contract basis, up to 6 months. You will be supporting a variety of hiring needs across teams that sit within our Business Services job family within FARFETCH.com. This will include hiring for multiple regions for positions within Finance, Legal and People.
Our team is responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle; we identify pipeline recruitment needs, take job briefs, conduct interviews and manage the offer & onboarding process for all new hires. We have day to day interaction with line managers across all business areas and ensure we listen, consult and conduct the recruitment process to a very high standard.

By using a combination of channels including social media, job boards, headhunting and career events, you’ll be able to attract and recruit the necessary quality and quantity of exceptional talent required.

Ideally you’d be someone happy to work with minimal guidance to get things done and thrive with implementing new and exciting initiatives. You should be confident when communicating with stakeholders at all levels, and maintain a solution focused approach when under pressure.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from candidate attraction through to offer management; working with the wider People team to onboard new starters
  • Focus on hiring across roles within Finance, Legal and People.
  • Execute a multi-channel recruitment strategy
  • Designs sourcing strategies to meet the hiring needs of the department looking at ways to improve quality of hire (based on data insights), establish efficiencies or diversity of the talent we engage with.
  • Support the social recruiting plan to attract talent and build the employer brand while offering creative and innovative ideas to develop this further
  • Assist in managing and delivering talent pipeline across global geographies- UK and Portugal
  • Maintaining the health and operational integrity of our ATS and using data to drive insights and value for processes management.
  • Constantly strive to improve the quality, time and cost efficiency of the recruiting function
  • Ensure all recruitment processes are legally compliant with UK and European employment legislation
WHO YOU ARE
  • Ideally you are an expert in hiring roles within the Finance and Legal space
  • You are able to start immediately and open to working on a fixed term contract basis.
  • In-house or agency experience with knowledge of a variety of recruitment needs
  • Worked with recruitment technology and have demonstrated experience sourcing candidates directly
  • Excellent time management skills; able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Master of communication, internally and with external stakeholders and suppliers; with proven influencing skills
  • Experience within a fast-paced environment such as a start-up or a rapidly growing business
  • Ability to identify and efficiently manage recruitment risks
