Intern - Store Development & Visual Merchandiser

Job Summary:The Store Design & Visual Merchandising Intern supports the brand’s creative and retail teams in developing captivating store environments and product displays that reflect brand storytelling. The role combines creative design work, hands-on execution, and coordination to ensure consistent and inspiring in-store experience for customers.

Key responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising Execution

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining product and window displays in boutiques, counters, and pop-ups.
  • Support the execution of seasonal campaigns, new launches, and promotional activations.
  • Help ensure visual guidelines (VM Planograms) are consistently implemented across all stores.
  • Assist in photo documentation, VM reports, and performance recaps after campaign installations.

Store Design Support

  • Assist in preparing and updating store layout drawings, fixture plans, and design presentations.
  • Support the compilation of drawings, layout & purchasing list for store opening.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on store setup, fixture fabrication, or visual prop development.

Creative & Operational Assistance

  • Research current beauty and retail design trends to inspire new concepts.
  • Help manage the VM prop inventory, fixtures, and tools.
  • Support in creating visual guideline decks and presentations for regional alignment.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Store Design & VM team.

Requirement:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication, Interior Design, Retail Design, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Passionate about beauty, retail design, and storytelling through visuals.
  • Strong eye for color, texture, and layout aesthetics.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or AutoCAD is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Comfortable working both in the office and on-site in stores.
