Trading across fifty countries and six continents, Kataman offers a comprehensive suite of services, including metal sourcing, marketing, financing, logistics, price risk management, inventory management, and market intelligence.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Summary</strong></p><p>The <strong>International</strong> <strong>Logistics Coordinator</strong> will play a vital role in our logistics operations, ensuring smooth movement of shipments from suppliers to customers. This individual will be responsible for export documentation, negotiating freight rates, communication, customer service, export operations, and creating invoices for both supplier payments and customer billing.</p><p>This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, customers and internal teams.</p><p>This is a full-time, on-site position located in St. Louis, MO.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Coordinate shipments from suppliers to customers, including scheduling deliveries and managing delivery appointments</p><p> • Negotiate freight rates from brokers and arrange shipments to meet delivery timelines and cost objectives</p><p> • Create invoices for supplier payments and generate invoices and export documentation to bill customers accurately and on time</p><p> • Support the management of inventory, including tracking movements, confirming quantities, and ensuring accurate system updates</p><p> • Communicate daily with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to ensure shipments are on track</p><p> • Troubleshoot delivery challenges and escalate issues appropriately</p><p> • Maintain organized and accurate documentation for shipments, invoices, and freight arrangements</p><p> • Support internal teams with logistics updates and inventory visibility </p><p><span> • </span>Contribute to a culture of precision, collaboration and continuous improvement </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Qualifications</strong></p><p>• Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field – or 2-3 years of related experience required </p><p> • Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight forwarding or related fields is preferred</p><p> • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</p><p> • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure</p><p>• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, suppliers, and brokers</p><p> • Proficiency in Excel </p><p> • Ability to learn quickly, take ownership, problem solve and follow tasks through to completion</p><p>• Knowledge of export logistics terminology (Vessel Bookings / INCO terms) and familiarity with international shipping documents a plus</p><p>• Fluency in Spanish preferred</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Kataman Metals</strong></p><p>At Kataman, we invest in people who take ownership.
