Job Summary

TechOps is looking for a motivated IT Operations Intern specializing in Network and Server Administration to join our dynamic team. This internship provides hands-on experience in maintaining IT infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and supporting the daily operations of networks and servers. The role is ideal for students or recent graduates seeking to build a strong foundation in IT operations and infrastructure management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and monitoring of network devices, servers, and IT infrastructure.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of networks and servers.
  • Document IT processes, network diagrams, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Support routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, security patches, and backups.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth and secure operations across departments.
  • Assist in implementing security best practices for networks and servers.
  • Participate in incident response and help resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments.

Experience
