IT PeopleSoft 9.1 Integration Consultant (TVA - Remote)

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a Tier 1 vendor for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and we are recruiting for an experienced, PeopleSoft 9.1 Configuration Consultant , for a 12-month contract assignment affiliated with the downtown Chattanooga office.

  • Target start date: 04/20/26
  • W2 Hourly Pay Rate: Up to 65.00/hour (time & half for overtime)
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Review the system configuration inside PeopleSoft 9.1 to troubleshoot, remedy, and resolve customer requests.
  • Responsible for ensuring that business-specific requirements are included during product development and coordinating all measures relating to system acceptance.
  • Reviews product roadmaps and evaluates the feasibility of new functionality; supports system upgrades by preparing necessary communication and organizing test cycles with system specialists and users.
  • Executes, reviews, and reacts to data audit findings, recommends and initiates corrective action, manages system access and security and related audits.
  • Responsible for system testing, maintenance of interfaces, security roles, and configuration.
  • Collaborates with external vendors to ensure data integrity for various HR processes.
  • Manages inter-dependence between internal and external systems, including single and bi-directional data feeds between all HR systems and external vendors, as well as connections with other internal HR&C and IT systems.
  • Troubleshoots and analyzes system issues and deficiencies, identifying and recommending solutions.
  • Maintains in-depth HR data knowledge and a thorough understanding of how internal and external customers use HR data; identifies and analyzes new data requirements and provides alternatives.
  • Ensures data integrity and consistency; understands and complies with internal data retention, retrieval, and disposal policies.

Education / Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or similar field of study.
  • Must have experience working with Benefits and Open Enrollment processes within PeopleSoft 9.1.
  • Knowledge of IT product design and configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant HR Systems and preferred tools.
  • Knowledge of configuration, system maintenance, and testing.
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Workforce Analytics & Data Analysis.
