IT Project Management Intern – Agile and Scrum

Job Summary

Projex IT is seeking a highly motivated IT Project Management Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies, providing a platform for aspiring project managers to gain real-world experience in managing IT projects from initiation to delivery. The role is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to impactful technology projects while developing essential project management skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects following Agile and Scrum frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help optimize Agile workflows within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Asana) is a plus.

Experience

  • No prior professional experience is required; however, candidates with internships, academic projects, or certifications in project management or Agile/Scrum will be preferred.
  • Familiarity with IT project lifecycle concepts is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours with a typical expectation of 20–25 hours per week.
  • Remote work opportunities may be available, subject to team requirements.
